Phew, what a weekend that was! As we sit down to reflect on the whirlwind of fun and frolics that was our Easter Beer Festival, we can't help but chuckle and smile thinking about all that went on.

Yep, we were sweating bullets as we scrambled to prepare for a soggy affair. But you know what they say about the best-laid plans... they often involve a fair bit of rain cover..

Thankfully, our worries were soon washed away as the festivities kicked off with a bang on Wednesday night for our exclusive members. As Thursday rolled around, the clouds parted, and the sun peeked through, giving us a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, luck was on our side.

Ah, but fate had other plans in store for us. Just when we thought we had weathered the storm, we arrived on Friday morning to find the road outside our gates closed tighter than a jar of Marmite. A fire on a local industrial estate had the police playing traffic cop, and it seemed like the universe was conspiring against us. And as if that wasn't enough, a multi-car collision decided to join the party, closing off another route. Talk about a comedy of obstacles!

But fear not, for where there's a will, there's a way (and perhaps a pint or two to help smooth things over)! After some swift negotiations with the powers that be, we managed to navigate our way through the chaos and fling open our gates to the eager crowds. And lo and behold, they came flocking in, undeterred by roadblocks or traffic snarls.
