Mark your calendars for Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of June, with an exclusive members-only sneak peek on Thursday 20th. We'll be hosting at our Taproom and Beer Garden in the heart of Long Melford, Suffolk – the perfect setting for a sun-soaked celebration. From a range of top-notch drinks, and delicious local grub, to live music that'll get your feet tapping, we've got plenty to keep you entertained.

Beer & Cider Tent
This year, our beer tent will be brimming with sensational beers (24+ in total!!) from all over the country, featuring brewers and friends such as Hook Norton, Oakham, Mad Squirrel, Hopback, North Cotswold, Rudgate, Wharf, Vale, and Woodfordes, to name a few! We're excited to offer a selection of champion cask real ales that you'll surely recognise, alongside some exclusive speciality brews and inventive recipes crafted by our head brewer Ian and his talented team just for this occasion!
But that's not all—we'll also have an extraordinary selection of draught ciders, including fruity, tropical, salted caramel, and even more adventurous flavors!
Unlike our previous events such as the Easter Beer Festival and Oktoberfest, we will not be using beer cards this year. To keep things simple and convenient, our beer and cider tent will be card-only.
Keg, Craft & Cocktails!
Our range of drinks is sure to rise a smile at our Summer Solstice Festival! Not only will we be showcasing some brilliant cask ales (as always!) but we'll also be extending our range of craft keg beers, lagers, cocktails and more! So, whether you're looking for a local cask ale, a global premium lager, a whacky craft beer, a rum and coke or a glass of fizz, we'll have a wide range that suits all tastes! Who knows? With a range as wide as ours, we're hopeful we can help you find your favourite drink for the summer!

We've rounded up Suffolk's finest food vendors to ensure your taste buds are thoroughly tantalised. From the mouthwatering offerings of Mac St Kitchen to the noodle nirvana of our Noodle & Dumpling Bar, there's something to satisfy every craving.

And what's a festival without music? Groove to the tunes of our local talent, from Ben Smith's soulful serenades to the uplifting melodies of the L.T.P duo. With live music setting the scene, our beer garden is the place to be for a truly memorable experience. Fingers crossed the sun is shining so we can crack open the back doors and spread the atmosphere across our garden!
Ice Cream, Face Painting & Morris Dancing
But wait, there's more! We're bringing the fun for the whole family with local morris men strutting their stuff on Saturday afternoon. Plus, unleash your inner child (or indulge your actual children) with face-painting courtesy of a local artist. And what's a summer day without ice cream? We've got you covered with an ice cream van rolling in on Friday and Sunday!
Don't Forget The Dog!
We love dogs at Nethergate and welcome you to bring your pup along to our Summer Solstice festival! Whilst we've got all the family covered with food, drink and entertainment, we certainly haven't forgotten about our furry friends. Kindly, one of our amazing members will be hosting a Dog-Friendly station stocked with watering bowls, biscuits and Dann's Pupsicles Dog Ice Cream to ensure they don't feel left out!
