We are thrilled to announce that our best Golden Ale, Stour Valley Gold, has been launched at The Strangers bar in The Palace of Westminster! As part of a really memorable day, Rob (our General Manager) and John (our Managing Director) were given a guided tour around The House of Commons and House of Lords, where they learned about the rich history and traditions of the Palace. We were also kindly given access to The Chapel of St Mary Undercroft, a hidden gem that is steeped in history and culture.

After the guided tour of The House of Commons and House of Lords, Rob and John were invited into The Strangers Bar to pour off the first pint of Stour Valley Gold. This was an incredibly special moment for us as we have brewed this beer with passion and love, and we are so proud to have it available at such a prestigious and iconic location. It was truly an unforgettable experience to see our beer being poured for the first time in such a historic and important setting.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to James Cartlidge, our local MP for South Suffolk, who helped us get the beer available through recommendation. Without his support, we would not have been able to make this happen!

It was an unforgettable day filled with history, culture, and of course, great beer! We hope that members of both houses and all parties will raise a glass of Stour Valley Gold and enjoy the best Golden Ale that has ever been available in the Palace of Westminster. Who knows, maybe it will even settle a few political arguments over a pint!
