Limited Edition Cask Beer Release In Support of Southgate's Swan Song!
As the excitement builds for this year's Euro Championships in Germany, we're thrilled to unveil our latest cask beer release for June & July: Road To Glory Pale Ale. The latest addition to our 2024 calendar, this easy-drinking pale ale with light tropical and citrus notes is the real winner of this year's tournament! Settle your nerves and soak up the atmosphere with a pint of Road To Glory as we all get behind the team on their "road to glory!"
In honour of the tournament and Southgate's Swan Song, we've given Road To Glory a glow-up with new pump clip artwork and a refined recipe! Given the popularity of this beer from previous footballing tournaments, we didn't want to completely redefine its taste and character. Instead, we've been busy trialing, tweaking, and tasting over the last few weeks until we crafted an updated brew with a refreshed pump clip.
There's something special about enjoying a beer that's dedicated to a significant event, especially one as beloved as football. In the UK, pub culture is deeply intertwined with sports, and a well-crafted cask beer enhances the experience of watching a match. Fans gather in pubs, the heart of the community, where the atmosphere is charged with suspense and excitement. How Does It Taste?
Our brewers have carefully selected the hops to ensure Road To Glory offers a flavour profile that makes for a perfect pint when you're watching the action unfold with your mates. This pale ale offers a quaintly balanced and light flavour profile with fresh notes of tropical fruits and a light, citrusy, zesty finish thanks to the creative blend of Mosaic, Columbus, and Citra hops. It's refreshing, full of character, and easy to drink—perfect for when you're watching your team in a tournament.
Where Can I Get A pint?
This beautiful cask beer will be available in pubs, restaurants, and other outlets starting the week of June 27th, giving everyone plenty of time to order in advance of the tournament kickoff two weeks later.
For trade customers, Road To Glory will be available in 9G casks or 4.5G pins for a limited time. We also offer pre-orders for those eager to stock this unique beer for the tournament.
It will be available for home enjoyment in our fresh beer boxes, available online or in our shops for local delivery or collection (9, 18, or 36 pint boxes available).
Or, it will be available on draught in both of our taprooms in Long Melford & Bury St Edmunds.
