August Bank Holiday Weekender at Nethergate
Four days of live music, food, fresh beer and (hopefully) plenty more Suffolk sunshine!
After months of glorious hot weather and what feels like one heatwave after another, it’s been quite the summer for the beer garden – and we’re hoping it has one more big weekend left in it for the August Bank Holiday.
We’ve got four days of live music planned at our home in Long Melford, starting on Friday afternoon and carrying on right through to Bank Holiday Monday.
Some familiar faces will be joining us again, alongside a few artists making their Nethergate debut:

The garden bar will be in full swing
We’ll be opening up our full garden bar for the entire weekend, giving you plenty of choice and, importantly, saving you the walk back and forth to the main indoor bar every time your glass needs topping up.
We’ll have plenty pouring across the weekend, with a full beer list to follow soon.
And with the way this summer has been going, we’ll have plenty of umbrellas out and our marquee up too, giving you lots of shade when you need a break from the Suffolk sunshine.
Come hungry
There’ll be plenty to eat too. We’ve got some of our favourite food vans joining us throughout the whole weekend – mostly two each day, because apparently one isn’t enough to keep up with you hungry buggers!
Whether you’re popping in for a pint and something to eat or planning on settling in for the afternoon, there should be plenty to choose from.

We’re ready for a busy one
We’re expecting plenty of you over the weekend, so we’re doing what we can to make things as easy as possible.
We’ll have plenty of parking available, along with extra toilets for the weekend, a fully operational garden bar and lots of seating throughout the garden.
Hopefully that means less time queuing and more time with a pint in hand, enjoying the music and atmosphere.
No tickets. No need to book.
There’s no need to book and no tickets required – just come along, find yourself a spot and settle in for the afternoon.
