Making a great 0.0% lager isn’t simply about taking the alcohol away. Without alcohol, beer can easily lose some of its body, balance and flavour – leaving it feeling thin, overly sweet or lacking that crisp, refreshing finish.

Our Zero Lager 0.0% has been carefully developed to make sure none of those things are overlooked. It’s light and refreshing, but still has the body, flavour and balance you’d expect from a proper lager.

BUILT FOR BALANCE

Saaz is the star of the show, bringing the classic lager character we were looking for – gently floral, lightly herbal and with just a touch of spice.

We then use a selection of natural hop-derived ingredients to enhance the beer’s taste, aroma, body and clarity, helping to bring everything together without overpowering the delicate Saaz character.

The result is a bright, golden 0.0% lager with gentle malt sweetness, subtle hop aroma and a smooth, rounded mouthfeel, balanced by a clean bitterness and crisp, refreshing finish.

Good strong taste and not insipid like most other AF largers. A great companion to Nethergates brilliant Low Alcohol bitter

While the Zero Lager is good, the taste isn’t quite right for me - it needs to be a slightly ‘sharper’ lager flavour.
In comparison, Venture Point 5 has kept the ‘beer’ flavour.
