Our 30-Day Returns Window

We want you to enjoy your order as much as we enjoy brewing it.
If something’s not quite right, you’ve got 30 days from receiving it to let us know.

To qualify for a return, items need to be:

  • Unused and in the same condition they arrived in

  • In their original packaging

  • Sent back with proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

To start a return, email shop@nethergate.co.uk with your order number and what you’d like to return.
We’ll guide you through the next steps and send you a returns label if it’s approved.
(Please don’t post anything back until we’ve confirmed it – we need to keep track of every parcel.)

Changed Your Mind?

If you’re sending something back simply because you’ve changed your mind, that’s fine – we’ve all been there.
You’ll just need to cover the return postage and make sure everything travels safely in its original packaging.

If your order has already shipped, the original delivery charge can’t be refunded once it’s left us.


Damages, Shortages & Other Issues

We pack every box with care – but sometimes things happen in transit.
Please check your order when it arrives, and if anything looks amiss:

  1. Tell the courier on delivery if you can.

  2. Email us within 3 working days at shop@nethergate.co.uk with your order number and clear photos.

Once verified, we’ll sort a replacement or refund straight away.
If the same item isn’t available (for example, a one-off release or discontinued beer), we’ll refund you for that product and any applicable original shipping costs.


Items We Can’t Take Back

Some things can’t be returned, including:

  • Gift cards and memberships (non-refundable)

  • Perishable or custom products, and anything that can’t be resold once opened

  • Sale items (unless faulty)

Exchanges

Need a swap? The quickest way is to return the original item (once approved) and place a fresh order for what you’d like instead.


Refunds

We’ll let you know as soon as your return arrives and has been checked.
If everything looks good, we’ll refund your original payment method.
Card providers can be a bit slow – if you’ve not seen the refund within 15 business days of our confirmation, get in touch.


Your Legal Right to Cancel (UK / EU Cooling-Off Period)

If your order was shipped to the UK or EU, you also have a 14-day cooling-off period starting the day after delivery to change your mind.
Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and returned at your own cost (unless faulty).
Once we’ve received and checked them, we’ll refund the product price and standard delivery costs where applicable.


Age Verification (Alcohol Sales)

Our beers and spirits are brewed for those of lawful drinking age only.
Couriers may ask for photo ID on delivery – and it’s the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the recipient is of age.
