I have to agree with other comments that Venture 0.5% is the best low alcohol beer that is available. The warm and hoppy flavour is so much better than others, some of which bear no resemblance whatsoever to full strength beer. Nethergate is a real winner. Five stars!

The very best I have had

My wife received a sample bottle in her cask gin club & have to say it was one of the best alcohol free beers that i have tasted. A strong hoppy flavour, i thoroughly enjoyed and will be ordering more.

I've tried many low alcohol and alcohol free beers they vary from literally undrinkable, artificial or watery, and therefore not worth bothering with to excellent as a very drinkable alternative to the 'real' thing. I'm very pleased to say that Nethergate Venture Point Five is one such 'very drinkable' beers. It has a good malty aroma. The taste is complex, full, and with hops shining through. All in all it's a really pleasant Amber Ale. It's the best alternative beer that I've tried. Five stars!

My first try / taste of Venture 0.5 and I was very surprised. It has a good flavour and really quite drinkable as a ‘low / no’ alcohol beer. Definitely worth having a few bottles in storage for when I don’t want or can’t have my usual SVG. Will buy again

Splendid ale. It’s the best low alcohol I’ve tasted by a country mile.My pal had a pint sat on the bar for me over Xmas when I was driving and I was questioning whether he’d definitely bought me a low alcohol, which says it all… class in a glass.

Let's be honest, 99% of low alcohol beers are best used as drain cleaner-garbage with a horrendous aftertaste that puts you off ever buying low alcohol again.

This beer is NOT one of those beers! It tastes like the beer you expect from Nethergate but without the hangover and leaves you responsible to look after the family over the Christmas period.

Having tried a number of different low alcohol real ales and found them wanting, I was very pleased to come across Nethergate Venture Point 5 in a pub in Cambridge. I ordered a case for Christmas and my Camra member friend have complimented it, without knowing it's a low alcohol brew. It's a lovely malty pale ale, good body and mouth feel, with a mild hop finish. I'll be ordering more soon.
