work with us

We've been brewing beer (and now distilling spirits too) in Suffolk since 1986. From our award-winning ales and craft beers to our taprooms, festivals, and tours, everything we do is rooted in passion, quality, and a big love for our community. We’re a small, friendly team with plenty of ambition – and we’re always on the lookout for great people who share our enthusiasm.

There’s real variety in what we do, and that means a wide mix of opportunities: from apprenticeships in brewing to roles in our shops and taprooms, trade sales, driving and logistics, and even creative jobs like photography and videography.

Experience is always welcome, but what we really look for is enthusiasm, a team spirit, and a willingness to get stuck in. In return, we offer plenty of support, a chance to grow, and (of course) discounts on the best beer around.

Take a look below at the current positions we’re looking to fill – we’d love to hear from you.

Free Trade SAles - Part Time (2 days per week)

Territory: North Suffolk & Norfolk
Full & Clean UK Driving Licence Required

We’re looking for someone to join our passionate trade sales team and become the friendly face of Nethergate across North Suffolk and Norfolk (including Stowmarket, Thetford, Norwich, Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas).

In this role, you’ll be the link between our brewery in Long Melford and our fantastic network of trade customers. You’ll be out on the road building relationships, spotting new opportunities, and proudly championing Nethergate beers and spirits.

Your customers will be wonderfully varied — from rural restaurants and high-street pubs to farm shops, cafés, wholesalers and community venues. No two days will look quite the same.

Sales experience is helpful, but it’s not essential. What matters most is that you’re great with people, organised, and genuinely enthusiastic about delivering excellent service while helping Nethergate reach more drinkers across the region.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate and enthusiastic
  • Friendly and confident meeting new people
  • Understands our trade, beer and pubs
  • Organised and self-motivated
  • Respectful of customers and colleagues
  • Proud to represent a local, independent brewery

Sound like you? We’d love to hear from you.
