Give someone a proper look behind the scenes at Nethergate with a Brewery Tour Gift Voucher for our brewery in Long Melford, Suffolk.

This is a physical gift voucher, printed on premium card and supplied with a presentation envelope, ready to give as a present. We’ll send it to your delivery address by post with a unique voucher code, which the recipient can use to book their preferred tour date online.

The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Our 1.5 hour brewery tour takes guests behind the scenes of our working brewery in Long Melford, exploring how we make our beers and the story behind nearly 40 years of Nethergate.

Starting with how two school friends, Ian and Dick, turned a shared love of real ale into a brewery back in 1986, we’ll bring the story right up to the present day and show how beers such as Old Growler are brewed today.

Along the way, tour visitors will:

Enjoy six Nethergate beers
Six ½ pint samples, including familiar favourites and seasonal brews.

Explore our working brewhouse
See the equipment and processes behind our beers and get a proper look at where it all happens.

Learn how beer is made
From the ingredients we use to the brewing process and the care that goes into every batch.

Hear the Nethergate story
From our beginnings in 1986 to the ambitioius, independent Suffolk brewery we are today.

Visit our shop
With our beers, spirits, gifts and merchandise available to take home.

Enjoy our taproom and garden
Stay for a few drinks after the tour.
