Our first foray into whisky. A Suffolk Single Malt. Smooth, rounded with a light sweetness. A carefully selected whisky crafted from Suffolk barley, distilled in small batches and matured for years in ex-bourbon casks here at our Long Melford home. Warm oak, soft vanilla and gentle spice come together in a whisky that’s easy, balanced and quietly full of character. Gift tube included.

Our very first whisky. Cask No.1.

Cask No. 1 has been carefully chosen by our Head Distiller: a Suffolk Single Malt made with Suffolk barley with a distinctive flavour and body. Each cask release will have its own character, its own story, and this first edition sets the tone beautifully.

Matured patiently over years in ex-bourbon casks, this first whisky is smooth and rounded, offering gentle oak, soft vanilla and a warm, comforting spice on the finish. Nothing sharp. Nothing showy. Just an easy, softly sweet dram that feels right at home on a winter evening.

Every bottle is hand-filled, hand-waxed, hand-sealed and hand-signed by our team here in Long Melford — a proper small-batch labour of love.
