It began as a dare — could we brew a stout that wasn’t dark? The idea raised more than a few eyebrows in the brewhouse, but curiosity won out, and White Stout was born. Pale gold in the glass yet carrying all the depth and indulgence of its darker cousins, it’s the beer that turns expectations upside down.

Brewed unfined for a naturally smooth body, we enrich it with real vanilla pods and cocoa nibs for a subtle sweetness and creamy texture. The result is a pint that tastes of silky vanilla, soft chocolate and roasted malt — yet gleams as bright as a golden ale. It’s rich, balanced, and undeniably moreish, a beer that invites double-takes and second pints in equal measure.

What started as a playful challenge has become one of our most talked-about creations — a favourite among regulars and a calling card for our brewers’ creativity.
