With zesty notes of lime and grapefruit and a smooth, rounded finish, it’s a multi-award-winning pint that captures the spirit of our independent journey.

OUR LONG MELFORD MILESTONE

When we fired up our brewery in Long Melford for the very first time in 2017, we knew we wanted a beer to mark the occasion. Venture was that statement—a nod to our roots and a toast to what lay ahead. Like every beer in our core range, it is brewed using pure water from our own Stour Valley well, providing a literal connection to the landscape that defines our new home. It’s a "quietly bold" session ale that acts as the liquid foundation of our modern brewing era.

SESSIONABLE SOUL: THE THREE-HOP BLEND

Venture isn't just about history; it's about perfect sessionability. We’ve used a trio of American hops to create a bright, tropical profile: Ekuanot for lime zest, Nugget for a herbal spice, and Cascade for that signature grapefruit lift. At 3.7%, it’s light enough for all-day enjoyment but flavorful enough to keep you interested. It’s a multi-award-winning ale that proves you don’t need a high ABV to carry a world of character.
