When we fired up our brewery in Long Melford for the very first time, we knew we wanted to mark the occasion with a new real ale. A statement beer. A nod to our roots, a toast to what lay ahead and a trial on our new kit!

Brewed with a trio of American hops — Ekuanot for lime zest and tropical fruit, Nugget for a gentle herbal spice, and Cascade for that signature grapefruit lift — it’s a beer built on balance. Smooth malt gives body and warmth, while the hops add brightness and a clean, refreshing finish. At 3.7%, it’s a proper session pint: flavourful enough to keep you interested, light enough to keep you coming back.

Crisp, easy-going and unmistakably Nethergate, Venture has become a symbol of where we’ve been and where we’re going. A favourite amongst our pub customers and quickly established as one of our Champion beers.
