This light amber session ale is built on a foundation of pure water sourced from our brewery's own 100ft well, which provides a crisp, clean canvas for a trio of American hops to shine. With zesty notes of lime and grapefruit and a smooth, rounded finish, it’s a multi-award-winning pint that captures the spirit of our independent journey.

OUR LONG MELFORD MILESTONE

When we fired up our brewery in Long Melford for the very first time in 2017, we knew we wanted a beer to mark the occasion. Venture was that statement—a nod to our roots and a toast to what lay ahead. Like every beer in our core range, it is brewed using pure water from our own Stour Valley well, providing a literal connection to the landscape that defines our new home. It’s a "quietly bold" session ale that acts as the liquid foundation of our modern brewing era.

SESSIONABLE SOUL: THE THREE-HOP BLEND

Venture isn't just about history; it's about perfect sessionability. We’ve used a trio of American hops to create a bright, tropical profile: Ekuanot for lime zest, Nugget for a herbal spice, and Cascade for that signature grapefruit lift. At 3.7%, it’s light enough for all-day enjoyment but flavorful enough to keep you interested. It’s a multi-award-winning ale that proves you don’t need a high ABV to carry a world of character.

Customers praise this ale as "excellent" and "one of the best" with citrusy notes that's "smooth and really drinkable." Described as versatile year-round, it's "perfect" from the fridge or room temperature. While delivery and communication were praised, one customer noted damaged packaging.

Room temperature or straight from the fridge in a heatwave, this is the perfect beer. Actually, it's great all year round, going well with a Ruby on a cold night too.

The beer was great, although I over ordered the Old Growler as 18 pints would have been sufficient. The beer was delivered on time to the right address, although one of the cardboard boxes was damaged.

Tasty session ale. Nice citrusy notes and not overpowering.

Bought the 9 pint mini pin as I'd had this in the tap room previously. Love this ale and it's great that as it's supplied bright it can be drunk as soon as you get home
