Big News from Long Melford – Our Next Chapter Begins
We’ve got some cracking news to share — we’ve officially bought the field and woodland that surround our brewery and distillery here in Long Melford!
After a fair bit of planning, patience, and probably a few celebratory pints, we’re over the moon to say the deal is done. This is a huge step for us — and one that means we can keep growing right here in the place we call home. More space, more freedom, and a lot more exciting possibilities ahead.
What This Means for Us
In short — we’re here to stay. This extra 8 acres gives us room to spread our wings (and maybe a few hops) without ever having to move. It means we can keep doing what we do best: brewing great beer, welcoming great people, and making Long Melford an even better place for a pint or two.
We’ve come a long way since our early days on Clare High Street, but our heart’s never left Suffolk. This next step feels like a natural extension of that story — a new chapter for Nethergate, with the same soul it’s always had.
