Bright, bold, and brewed with a little help from artificial intelligence — our latest cask special has landed. We first played with the idea back in 2024. What started as a bit of office curiosity turned into one of our most talked-about seasonal releases. So we thought… why not go again?
Say hello (again) to AIPA - our Artificially Intelligent Pale Ale.

Style: Pale Ale
Flavour profile: Juicy. Zesty. Cleverly balanced.
So, what is it?
From beer style development and recipe building to malt selection, hop combinations, dry hopping schedules - even the pump clip artwork - we’ve collaborated with Ai tools every step of the way. Not to replace our brewers (steady on), but to create something fun, different and stand-out.
The result? A properly drinkable, hop-forward pale ale that’s spot on.
Soft citrus and floral aromas lead into a clean, measured finish, creating a composed and sessionable pint. It’s modern, it’s playful, but it’s still unmistakably Nethergate — crafted with care in Suffolk, pulled through a proper hand pump.
